Isaiah provides strategic and practical counsel to dozens of entrepreneurs and growing companies in a variety of technology sectors. He regularly serves as an outside general counsel for his startup clients, and has extensive experience with a wide variety of transactions, including:

  • Corporate formations, employment agreements and equity issuances
  • SAFE and convertible note fundraising transactions
  • Equity financing transactions
  • Mergers and Acquisitions

Before joining Lawlace, Isaiah worked for various startups and big tech companies, including AngelList, SVB, Carta and Microsoft. Isaiah started his legal career at O’Melveny before joining Fenwick & West. Isaiah is also a micro-VC and angel investor in early-stage startups founded and led by underrepresented founders. Isaiah is a member of the California State Bar and Washington State Bar.
